Relational Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

There are times when life feels too much to hold alone.

Anxiety, loss, difficulty in relationships, a life in transition — or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. You don’t have to arrive knowing what to say. Therapy offers a place to think together, at a pace that feels right for you.

A quiet place to think, together.

My work is relational and psychodynamic: we pay attention not only to what you bring, but to what happens between us.

Sessions are unhurried, with no template and no expectation that you should arrive knowing what to say. Only the steady practice of paying attention together — and the possibility that, in being deeply listened to, something begins to shift.

What we might explore

Some of what people bring

You do not need to know what to call it before we begin.

Anxiety & unease

A restlessness or dread that has become difficult to live alongside.

Grief & loss

The many shapes of loss — bereavement, endings, roads not taken.

Relationships

Patterns that repeat, closeness that feels difficult, the shape of your intimate life.

Life transitions

Becoming a parent, leaving a role, moving countries, ageing, unexpected change.

Identity & self

A quiet sense that something isn't quite right — that you are not fully yourself.

The unnamed

Sometimes we come without words. That is a place to begin, not an obstacle.

The First Meeting

An initial consultation

A paid fifty-minute session, with nothing to prepare. We speak about what has brought you, what you are hoping for, and whether working together feels right.

Afterwards there is no obligation to continue. Some people know straight away; others prefer a little time to reflect.
